Minhwa - 민화
Minhwa is traditional Korean folk art that often appears in Miran’s work. This style flourished during the Joseon Dynasty (1392–1910) and was used as a means to attract good luck and a way to express one’s hopes and prosperity. It’s a little whimsical and a little witty, and these traditional themes can be seen throughout Miran’s art.
